Nefaeria - I have read about the Rowan in Celtic and Wiccan books but did not know what it looked like. Oddly enough, a visting English gardener was on the local radio as I drove home from work today and mentioned our Rowan Trees here on the island - and I thought what the darned heck are those Rowan trees?... And here you are with a lovely picture of one - kinda spooky.

What a neat story! Maybe there is something that the Rowan has to 'offer you'? :)
I've been meaning to do a feature post on the lore and properties of the Rowan, but haven't gotten around to it yet. It is a favourite of mine.
